Improving Household Gas Network Services, PGN Surabaya Area through Customer Meetings
Surabaya, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) Surabaya Area improves service to household customers through customer meeting activities held in one of the Surabaya Area areas. This step is part of PGN's commitment to improve service quality and strengthen communication with customers, especially the household sector.
"We continue to provide the best service to customers and listen to input and suggestions from customers, especially household customers, so that we can increase customer satisfaction," said Arief Nurrachman as Area Head Surabaya.
This activity was carried out at the Gresik Kota Baru Housing RW 10 Yosowilangun Village Gresik which was attended by 200 PGN household customers on 03/11/2024. In this activity, socialization of gas subscription procedures and safety education in the use of natural gas for household gas users were also carried out. "Through this activity, PGN wants to ensure that customers not only feel the benefits of using natural gas, but also understand the importance of safety in its use," said Arief.
PGN as Pertamina's Gas Subholding plays a very important role in the natural gas business chain in managing integrated natural gas infrastructure. In addition, PGN ensures the reliability of infrastructure and distribution of natural gas to all natural gas customer segments. Infrastructure integration is also carried out to increase asset utilization and encourage wider use of natural gas, especially in the household sector.
"This event is very beneficial for residents, especially PGN customers. It is hoped that it can be carried out periodically and for residents who have not used PGN natural gas can register to become customers," said Aan Ari Wijaya as Head of RW. 10.
As a pioneer in the use of natural gas, PGN Area Surabaya has distributed natural gas to various sectors including households, commercial and industry with a total of 54,382 customers. The volume of natural gas distribution to customers in the area reached 117 million cubic meters per day until the 3rd Quarter of 2024.
PGN will continue to build infrastructure and expand the use of natural gas throughout Indonesia. PGN also expects support from all stakeholders and the community so that PGN, with the role of Pertamina Gas Subholding, can expand energy services, both natural gas, environmentally friendly, practical and subsidy-free energy for national energy security.
