PT PGN SOR III Holds Financial Management and Digital Marketing Training for Mandiri Care Group
Sidoarjo - PT PGN Tbk Sales and Operation Region III (SOR III) organized financial management and digital marketing training for the Mandiri Care Group (Asman) Seger Waras. This training was held as part of an effort to enhance the capacity of the group in Tambak Kalisogo Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java.
The training took place on Friday, July 19, 2024, with the aim that group members would be able to utilize digital technology to expand their product market and manage their business finances more effectively. The training materials included digital marketing strategies, the use of social media for business, and the basics of financial management, which are essential for business sustainability.
"Financial management and digital marketing are closely related for entrepreneurs, especially in the current massive digital era. PGN aims to hold activities that help the Seger Waras Care Group adapt to technology, enabling them to skillfully enhance their business through improved digital marketing strategies," said Mohammad Makki Nuruddin, Area Head of PGN SOR III Sidoarjo.
Through this training, participants are expected to gain knowledge not only about business improvement and innovation through digital marketing but also how to smartly and wisely enjoy the financial benefits of digital marketing.
The training session was led by Muhammad Farkhan, A.Md.T., as the digital marketing trainer, and Rizqon Abdillah, S.E., as the financial management trainer. Both trainers emphasized the importance of both topics in developing the group in this digital era.
"The goal of promotion is to introduce the product, not to get instant results," said Farkhan during the training session to motivate the Asman group. Rizqon also added, "The biggest reason some businesses fail, especially for new entrepreneurs, is not due to lack of market, but because of poor bookkeeping management."
The training was enthusiastically welcomed by members of the Seger Waras Care Group and local village representatives. "This training might be one of the answers to the problems we face, especially regarding financial management, which often results in losses," said Isna, one of the group members.
Through this TJSL program, PT PGN SOR III hopes to create a lasting positive impact on the community of Tambak Kalisogo Village. In addition to the training, PT PGN SOR III also plans to conduct follow-up mentorship programs to ensure that the implementation of the training material goes well and yields optimal results.
