PGN Deploys Nataru Task Force 2024, Ensures Reliable Natural Gas Distribution to Over 815,000 Customers

Jakarta – PT PGN Tbk, as Pertamina's Subholding Gas, is committed and ready to ensure the reliability of natural gas distribution for over 815,000 customers during the Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025 (Nataru) holiday period. The natural gas pipeline network, which spans over 33,000 km, is also guaranteed to be reliable, along with 16 Gas Filling Stations (SPBG), Mobile Refueling Units (MRU), and 3 LNG Terminals.

PGN has deployed the Nataru 2024 Task Force to ensure the availability and distribution of natural gas in 74 districts/cities. The PGN Nataru Task Force is integrated with the Pertamina Oil and Gas Holding Nataru Task Force and the Joint Post of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) at BPH Migas, which operates from December 16, 2024, to January 9, 2025.

The PGN Nataru Task Force also supports Pertamina Holding in ensuring the availability of energy for the people of Indonesia during the Nataru period. "The Pertamina Group is ready to serve the public in celebrating Christmas and the New Year. The Nataru Task Force operates across all operational sectors, from upstream to downstream," said Fadjar Djoko Santoso, Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina.

"We ensure that all of our customers, including Gaskita customers, households, retail, and SMEs, will not run out of gas while using their kitchens during Nataru. For Gasku customers in the land transportation sector using CNG, there is no need to worry because our SPBGs continue to operate normally," said PGN Corporate Secretary Fajriyah Usman (December 23, 2024).

This also applies to gasline customers in the commercial and industrial sectors, as well as Gaslink customers for commercial use beyond pipelines, i.e., CNG. The supply services and infrastructure are guaranteed to be reliable during Nataru.

"The Nataru Task Force operates 24 hours a day to ensure all operations run smoothly, with oversight from HSSE. We also perform regular checks on PGN's entire gas network to ensure everything is in normal and safe condition," concluded Fajriyah.
